A mysterious event causes nearly everyone on Earth to lose consciousness for two minutes and seventeen seconds. During the time of the blackouts, every person sees visions of their own lives six months in the future. A team of FBI agents begin an investigation to determine what happened, why, and whether it will happen again.
One of the FBI agents has a unique perspective on the investigation; in his flashforward vision, he saw the results of six months of investigation that he had done on the flashforward event, and he and his team use those clues to recreate the investigation. The team investigates a number of events related to the flashforward, including "Suspect Zero", who did not lose consciousness during the event.
I couldn't wait for each week's episode !!!! |

Did the last episode of this one-season series leave us hanging, or did they know the end was coming and wrap things up in a satisfactory manner?
That would be a good thing to know before I watch it, love it, and then get the Dear John kind of final episode!
I hate it when that happens . . . _________________ ____________

Bud, It somewhat left you hanging, but you had enough information to figure out most of "who done it" and "why".
The series is very well done and came very close to being renewed. The special effects in the very first episode are worth watching and as you can imagine, a lot can happen when everyone loses consciousness for two minutes and seventeen seconds. A LOT of very bad things can happen! |

The series Flashforward was good enough that I was sorry when it was cancelled. I watched every new episode (I remember lots of reruns) then it was gone.
Randy, we hope you get better soon. |

________________________________
I was impressed by the high production values of the first episode, and I cheated a bit by reading the Wikipedia article to find out more about the premise. I was worried that the series would leave me hanging at the end of its one-and-only season.
I got the distinct impression that to watch a series which dangled a concept throughout an entire season, only get to the season 1 cliffhanger and have it all end, wouldn't be much fun.
So I didn't watch the rest. _________________ ____________

I enjoyed this series & was also disappointed by its cancellation.
Has anyone ever read just what the creators/writers were going to do regarding what the explanation for the blackouts/flash forwards were & where they wanted to go with it? |

A "Flash Forward" could get you into a lot of trouble!
But A "Flash Backward" is referred to as "Mooning'! _________________ There comes a time, thief, when gold loses its lustre, and the gems cease to sparkle, and the throne room becomes a prison; and all that is left is a father's love for his child. |
