This is the Moebius release from a few years ago.
Built straight out of the box with the TSDS cardstock
interior/cockpit.

Nice job!

I had the old AURORA version back in the 70's and didn't come close to looking as good.

Back in the day there were other 2001 models available. I had the moon bus and I believe they had the moon ship (the spherical one) too.

I have the old Aurora kit also, I'll build it one day.

I have the Moonbus also. It's the Moebius re release of the old Aurora kit with a few other 2001 bits.



Rumor has it that now that Moebius the 2001 license more kits are coming.

I see the DISCOVERY ship in your photo too. One of the best concieved designs for a inter-solar craft.

I do hope they make a POD model too. I recall a model of the spacesuit too.

There's never been a mass-produced, injection-molded styrene kit of the Aries 1B (the spherical space-station-to-moon shuttle), though there are several resin garage kits in varying scales.
