The ingenuity showcased in these creations is one reason I threw in the towel on pumpkin carving. I got nothin' that comes close to this.

Good finds, Eadie.

Hey! Some of those are watermelons! Is that allowed?

Happy Hallowe???en!

Final reminder edition.

With apologies to Game of Thrones:

Your Jack O'Lantern should be carved by now. (I hope you did it. Your dad might botch-it-up like this dad did):

Have a party! (They're even having one on the USS Enterprise):

The crew even has their own theme:

Great pictures, one and all!

We appreciate the time and effort you took to find these, Miss Eadie. And your rackin' up the EDCA's by doing so! Cool

Happy Hallowe???en!

Taking my Godfather around the hospital with him as Professor X and me as Phoenix. Here is a picture from Halloween of 1949 with his mom and dad as batman and Batwoman:

I'm giving out a are treat (hospital approved), a type of corn called glass gem corn:

After 'Trick or Treat' I'm going home for some warm soup:

Then I'm going to watch my favorite (fake) TV show Chiller Theatre:

(Actually it's Svengouli on MeTV.) Our movie tonight is the extremely rare 4th film of the Creature From The Black Lagoon "trilogy":

Where she (yes SHE)

has to defend the home turf! promotion art:

Other promotion pictures:

The designer of the approved Gill-man was Disney animator Millicent Patrick,

though her role was deliberately downplayed by makeup artist Bud Westmore, who for half a century would receive sole credit for the creature's conception.[4] Jack Kevan, who worked on The Wizard of Oz and made prosthetics for amputees during World War II, created the bodysuit, while Chris Mueller, Jr. sculpted the head.

The co-feature is another unknown picture of the 1950s:

Even my cat's Winkin (short hair orange tabby) and his sister Blinkin (long hair tabby) have their costumes:

It's a good thing our house is protected:

If we're lucky this musical will come to Seattle:

Emerald Duck Call Award

When God made you, Eadie, I think he accidentally reached into the box marked Imagination twice and gave you a double helping! Very Happy

Somewhere there's a poor soul walking around with no imagination at all . . . Sad

Thank God it's you-know-who's fault and not mine. Wink

[size=20It's more like what Edmund Gwenn said in 1947's Miracle On 34th Street:

Adults live in various nations, such as the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom. But children have their own special nation; the IMAGInation![/size]
