I guess I'm just obsessed with adding jpegs to posts, but nobody ever puts a picture with these obituaries. I wonder why? Confused

Ron was wonderful in Firefly. We shall miss him.

He was great on BARNEY MILLER with Hal Linden.

Will miss him, but he lives on in his body of work.

Too much hassle.

If you're not happy with Photobucket, try Imgur. I have a backup account with them. I like them better than PB in some ways.

Photobucket is not your only option, Wayne. And I've told the PB members this on the Photobucket Facebook page. It made the Photobucket folks nervous.

41 seconds.

From the moment I read the words, "Too much hassle", I opened up a second window and did a Bing image search on Ron Glass, found an image, copied the url (below) and hit the reply button here. Just 41 seconds.

That's fine if you can find a stock image ready to go.

What if it's bigger than 700 px wide (or whatever that size restriction is)?

What if you have some modification to do, or if it's one of your own creation?

Even if you use some other image storage website, you still have to open that website, pull up the folder where you want to store the image, transfer your image, copy the URL, and paste it into your message. It's still more labor than finding your image on your own computer (which you have to do in any case) and attaching it to your message.

Now if I sign up for another image website I'll have twice as many sites to dig through to find where I stored any image I want to use again.

You are thinking that this is WAY more complicated than it really is.

Here's another 40 second Ron Glass image:

To your points:

When you type "Ron Glass" into Bing images, a bunch of thumbnails will appear and all you have to do is mouse-over and it will show the size of each image. This takes little more than one second per image. In 15 seconds, I was able to check the sizes of a dozen images. When you check images that fast, it's easy to find one the right size.

There is no need to modify or photoshop a celebrity image. There are plenty of ready-to-go images of every celebrity

The part I bolded is where things really go off the rails. You don't have to save or store the image at all. I Bing, find the image thumbnail that you want. Click on it and it comes up in a preview window. Click on the preview (View image source) and the full size image appears and you just copy and paste the URL here (using image tags). Again, I have timed this operation...click on thumbnail, click on preview, copy URL...about 11 seconds.

Very rarely do I have occasion to post stock images. But in those instances, I'll certainly take advantage of your method.

All that remains is to persuade Pow.
Very Happy

He also played a demon bedeviling a math professor played by Sherman Helmsey in a very entertaining segment of the revived Twilight Zone (adapted from a story by Joe Haldeman).

Yup. I did it in 52 seconds.
