It look inspired by the 1961 movie Master of the World ship and steampunk images. But I have never ever seen anything like it.

These are the voyages of the Airship Enterprise. Captain Janus Tibbs and the Enterprise burn their warp coal crossing the Aether to respond to a distress call from a research vessel attacked by an Air Kraken named Damballah The Undying.

Brian Denham, the creator of Steam Queens; artist of Iron Man: Hypervelocity, the X-Files, Angel, Starcraft, and Green Hornet comics; treks into undiscovered steampunk country with Airship Enterprise!

Originally appearing on Facebook, and then a 30 page teaser reprinted in Steampunk Tales #1-3 from Antarctic Press, the story has now been remastered, re-lettered, and colorized. This first issue collects the first 20 pages of the story.
