RE: the Variety article.

I wonder what's so terrible about the book? Why was it banned from many schools? Why did the American Library Association say it is “Most Frequently Challenged" (whatever that means)? I read it so long ago that I can't remember any details, but I know that I wasn't offended by anything.

The only thing I can think of as concerns the movie is that there were exactly two naked breasts, which may have caused prudes to have a spasm.
