I read a story about when he was on "Jason of Star Command". The show was filmed in a warehouse in an industrial area, but they tried to keep it a secret. This salesman kept showing up wanting to speak to the owner, and the Receptionist kept putting him off. One day the salesman was determined to speak to the owner, and camped out in the lobby. He was there awhile, when Sid Haig came out the back in full Dragos makeup and costume. The salesman watched in shock as Sid Haig made himself a cup of coffee, cheerfully greeted the Receptionist, then went back into the warehouse. The shocked salesman asked the Receptionist who that was, and thinking quickly the Receptionist replied that he was the owner of the company. The salesman excused himself, and never returned.

Just to give us an idea how funny that moment would have been, here's a picture of Sid in make-up and costume.
