George Pal's rousing adventure, The Naked Jungle, plays a bit fast and loose with the facts about army ants, claiming that in the Amazon a giant mass of the ants "swarm" every 20 years and cover the jungle for many square miles!

Ummm . . . Not true. Rolling Eyes

But watch this short video about real army ants and you'll see just how nasty these little devils can be! Shocked

If only the ants in Them! had been modeled after these guys, the movie would have been TWICE as scary!
