Somehow the thought of a movie about Martian Maidens kidnapping 12 year old boys to strap into their Martian Orgasmatrons is a bit disturbing.....and reminds me of a dream I had when I was twelve!

Maybe it WASN'T a dream, Gord!

Maybe it was a repressed memory from an alien abduction experience!
Shocked

Taking preteens makes sense, because not only would they be productive, they would also be young enough to train. Older males might get belligerent and cause trouble.

They really don't need the males, just the male byproduct (to put it delicately). As advanced as they are, it's hard to believe that they don't know about artificial insemination. If not, than any Farmer or Rancher could clue them in. It would be easier to store and transport the male byproduct, and they could transport more male byproduct than living males. A whole lot more.

So male byproduct is the way to go. Unless they want the males for other purposes besides the male byproduct. Maybe they have a cultural prejudice against artificial methods of reproduction.

Or they could just be horny.

Well, maybe . . . but I think it would be easier to recruit a few hundred males who would become an ongoing source of sperm.

Compare this to traveling back and forth between Earth and Mars to they can collect, store, and transport that stuff — over and over again.

Much easier to do what I suggested — acquire male and female volunteers whose job would be to act like rabbits while living in plush accommodations on Mars and then "paying the rent" with condoms filled with byproducts. Cool

And if the Martian women occasionally want to avail themselves of these pamper "guests", the guys from Earth would be happy to oblige them!

After a few years, this volunteer Stud Muffins and their sexy Bed Bunnies would start producing the next generation of sperm donners for the genial hosts, making it unnecessary to Martians to even ask Earth for more volunteers!

A long-range version of this story would involve a revolution on Mars, in which the pampered humans secretly plot to overthrow the arrogant Martian bitches and change the planetary "pecking order"! Cool

God, I am so good at this story-writing stuff! Very Happy

So all those bank robberies...sperm bank, that is...were not just for Hillary Clinton's victory party, but may have had an interplanetary plot at it's base????

From the movie, these women don't seem to be the recruiting type. More like they get into the space ship or be disintegrated type. That type of behavior does not guarantee performance, quite the opposite. That's why preteens and teens would be a better choice.

I admit to not being an expert on this (thank God), but each vial of male byproduct should supply enough male byproduct for dozens of Devil Girls. They are going to need male byproduct from thousands to promote genetic diversity if their civilization is to continue. You are going to need a large fleet of ships to transport that many males.

A ship like the one in the movie, with a good size freezer can transport vials of male byproduct from millions of males. That would supply the Devil Girls with enough male byproduct for generations. Much more cost effective and efficient. Unless like I said, they want the males for more than just byproduct.

They could just orbit Earth and demand that every nation have their males make donations of male byproduct. If a nation resists, then they can use a show of force to make them comply. The male byproduct would be collected at a chosen location, frozen and stored for pickup.

I've gotten to the point where I feel that there should be a little trademark emblem after male byproduct.

There's an old EC WIERD SCIENCE-FANTASY story titled "For Posterity.." that tells a similar story.

Two men prospecting for uranium in the south-west see a flying saucer land one night and go to investigate. They see an open hatch and go in to see. Suddenly the hatch springs shut and they find themselves being whisked off Earth into deep space. The ship lands on a remote planet and the men are greeted by a group of beautiful young women! Blondes, bruenets and redheads galore!

They are told that all the men on the planet were dead and they needed the two men to help repopulate. The guys try their best and after a time they are rendered unconscious and find themselves back at their campsite. They find tokens of love from the brunet women near them.

Why only from the brunets? "Because only gentlemen prefer blondes!"

Wow! This is an amazing thread! Gord found the actual comic! Read the whole thing, fantastic! Although I am not sure I get the punch line at the end. Is it saying that these two are no gentlemen? It doesn’t make clear to me the brunette and the redhead were the ones who left the roses. Perhaps we’re supposed to get that by inference or maybe I misread something earlier.

Yes. I think the punchline means "We're no Gentlemen!".
Meaning...I think. that they chose quite a few of the redheads and brunettes.

Yes, I fear you're correct, sir! The notion that spermatozoa is just "an incidental or secondary product" of coitus — rather than the primary purpose of the biological act of reproduction — is an indefensible position based on a false initial premise!

In fact. it's
completely inconceivable! Shocked

Just in...On Youtube...

A colorized version of the movie!

I know that the purists among us do not care for the process, But I think it's kind of interesting and adds another view.

A race going sterile was done on Star Trek: TOS episode "Wink of an Eye." Years later ST: TNG would also in their episode "When the Bough Breaks."
