YouTube has a number of episodes from this great show, and the picture quality suggests that they're from the restored DVDs sold by Shout Factory.

From IMDB: The scientific director of a government project is under suspicion of espionage after top secret information is leaked from his office. A search uncovers a strange bottle made of crystal. Tests show the rock records sound, reproducing the private conversations that happen in the director's office.

This episode is well-worth watching, despite the poor picture quality of the YouTube video. But the story is terrific, and the cast is exceptional.
Ray Collins (Lt. Arthur Tragg from Perry Mason) is a renowned scientist who is investigated by government agent Marshall Thompson (star of several fine 50s sci-fi classics) after top secret info has been leaked to America's enemies.
The premise is fascinating. The investigating scientists discover that an object with a crystalline structure can preserve sounds waves which impact it — the way a microphone transmits sound to a recording device.
Genglemen, the way to watch this blurry video is to treat it as an audio recording of an old sci-fi radio program. Just glance at the fuzzy image on the screen from time to time — but follow the story from the audio version.
The story itself is remarkable. At one point, the main characters discover that an ancient piece of volcanic rock contains a recording of the voices from the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, thousand of years ago!
This, gentlemen, is science fiction in its purest form. And it demonstrates just how remarkable this classic series is! _________________ ____________
