I've been working on a story entitled "THE RETURN" that is very much in the vein of Andy Weir's "THE MARTIAN" .

It is about the experiences of Captain Youngblood of the United Planets cruiser C-130-D and his return after 20 years to the planetary system of the main sequence star Altair.

It recounts the aftermath of the attempt to ascertain the status of the Bellerafon Expedition and a followup to the tragic aftermath of that encounter.

Is there any interest on this? If so. I'd like to serialize the story here. LMK Thoughts.

I mean, what if it's really good and everybody loves it? What if word gets around that All Sci-Fi has a great serialized story being added to periodically, and we start getting a bunch of new members? What if All Sci-Fi ends up with hundreds of new members who constantly add intelligent comments? Shocked

If you want all that on your conscience, Gordon, go ahead and post your story, but don't blame me if you get a flood of replies!
