Let's Create a Sequel!

~ A Question for the Members: After the hideous-but-benevolent aliens left Sand Rock, AZ, what if anther ship landed which brought attractive-but-malevolent aliens?
~ Here's what I came up with.: It Came From Outer Space (1953) was all about an encounter between average people who mistrusted the strange aliens who crash-landed in the desert. Those aliens just wanted to repair their spacecraft and depart, but the humans were hell-bent on destroy them.
The fact that those aliens' appearance was insanely bizzare served fuel the fears the humans felt.
But in the end, the aliens departed in peace, despite the fact the two of them died at the hands of the humans. As their ship streak up into the night sky, Richard Carlson states that they will come back some day.
With that in mind, suppose this sequel begins a year later, and another alien spacecraft lands in the desert near Sand Rock on a warm summer evening. Unlike the ship which crashed a year earlier, this one floats down gently a short distance from the town, early one evening in full view of the bewildered citizens.
The spacecraft rests there on the desert floor while droves of the curious townsfolk drive out to the site and gaze in wonder at this beautiful starship — gleaming in the light of full Moon!
Suddenly the hatch opens and a ramp extends to the ground. From the brightly lite interior of the ship, a group of tall humanoid figures emerge and descend the ramp. Their shimmering clothing and their beautiful appearance quickly quells the fears of the frightened humans.
Reluctantly these people remember the unpleasant encounter they had with the nightmarish creatures from space, and the shame they felt when they later learned that the aliens only wanted to repair their ship and leave.
With that in mind, these simple small-town citizen struggle to make amends by greeting these angelic newcomers with open arms!
However, Richard Carlson and Barbara Rush begin to suspect these aliens of being less benign than original thought!
Guys, I have a few idea for where this story should go from here, but I'm hoping the imaginative and intelligent members of All Sci-Fi will offer their own ideas!
After all, that's what All Sci-Fi is for, guys!
So, for God's sake, don't be shy! Please reply. Our guests (several hundred of them on a daily bases) are waiting to see what you've got under the hood! _________________ ____________
