Star Trek: Here's How Many Times the Enterprise Has Blown Up
Will Roberts, Cheat Sheet

At this point, the destruction of the Enterprise just seems like a standard Star Trek event, and when Star Trek Beyond was released last summer it joined the pantheon of Enterprises destroyed before it. But the destruction of the Enterprise isn't the only thing on Star Trek Beyond's agenda according to director Justin Lin. ..... Just how many times has the Enterprise been destroyed during the Star Trek (TV & Movie) series?A lot, it turns out and the frequency of the iconic ship's destruction has been growing over the years. So in order to celebrate yet another lost Enterprise, here's a list of all the times the ship has blown up........

BDT: Too many times, if you ask me; click on the link for the pretty pictures. The answer is at the link, and in invisible ink below:

This is one of the last post that Bulldogtrekker made, about a year before he died of pancreatic cancer in 2018.

I wish I'd noticed it and added a rely — even if it was one that simply thanked him for the post.

We here at All Sci-Fi need to do that more often. After all, even if we can't think of anything to say in a reply, we can at least thank a member for his posts! Shocked

Hell, is that too hard to do? I don't thing so. And if you agree, then why not thank me for THIS one.

Please . . . Sad

Thank you for this post!

I don't know that I've ever directly interacted with Bulldogtrekker, but given Six Degrees of Separation, and the nature of Fandom, I may have interacted with someone who'd seen a second-hand account of his thoughts or opinions. He may have heard from me in the same roundabout way.

Thank you also for your dedication in maintaining such posts! Need I mention that the link given is dead? I tried tricks like cutting off the "ref" addition, or changing the older ".html" to ".shtml", but it seems that article, no longer getting enough clicks for that website, has been dropped.

The late — and sorely missed — Bulldogtreker (Tim Edwards) would greatly appreciate your comments.

Sadly, Tim passed away in 2018 from pancreatic cancer, just two weeks after he was told about his diagnosis. Sad

He and I were close on-line friends for six years, depite the fact that we never met fact-to-face, since he lived in South Carolina and lived in North Carolina.

However, his charming widow, Kay, and I still talk on the phone from time to time. She's a delightful lady, and she sends Christmas cards and Birthday cards every year!

Tim was a huge Star Trek fan . . . so I made this altered image of his photograph, using Paint.net. He liked it!
