In the aftermath of a terribly destructive hurricane, water-based creatures infiltrate a small Florida town and begin to take over the bodies of the town's inhabitants through a cloning process (first by merging with and then unknowingly replacing them). While this sounds similar to "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers", it is far more sinister as the cloned persons are unaware that they have been replaced.
Creepy, creepy, creepy! |

Thanks for making us aware of this one, Randy.
I was afraid that zombies had taken over Hollywood and we'd never get any other kind of series again. _________________ ____________

Steven Wright once remarked, "I woke up one morning and all of my stuff had been stolen... and replaced by exact duplicates." Sounds similar to the description of this series. _________________ ...or not...

And that's certainly a good example of the kind of weird and funny things Steven Wright says. _________________ ____________

________________________________
Here's an interesting trivia item about this series which I found on Wikipedia.
________________________________
Due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the aftermath in the southern United States, early on-air promotions were quickly pulled by ABC. The advertising then switched emphasis completely to the alien invasion aspect of the series, while the hurricane received no mention.
The premiere was also preceded with a warning that the show featured images of a fictional hurricane that viewers could be sensitive to. _________________ ____________

I have absolutely NO memory of this series!
Are you guys pulling our legs?
If you are . . . pull them a little harder!
Yeah, right . . . Water soluable replacements . . . What do they do if it rains?? _________________ There comes a time, thief, when gold loses its lustre, and the gems cease to sparkle, and the throne room becomes a prison; and all that is left is a father's love for his child. |

I remember watching this show and enjoying it.
IMDB: Tyler Labine (Dave Groves) said that in spite of the show's huge following and critical acclaim, the network (ABC) disliked the series.
William Fichtner was not fond of the show, but said his character of Tom Underlay is one he most wants to revisit.
Eddie Cibrian (Russell Varon) considers this to be one of the best shows he ever worked on.
The water scenes were shot at the Santa Fe Dam, Irwindale, California. |

I have never heard of this series, but it sounds interesting enough. Gonna have to try and track it down and give it a watch. _________________ "You look like a pooped out pinwheel."
