Some folks disliked this one because it had too many villains. Sorry, but I didn't see it that way. That's a little like saying the Rockettes have too many legs.
Admittedly all those legs have to work together or the girls start kickin' each other in the head, but they seem to get it right every time.
And that's what the villains in this movie do, too. Some of them gang up on Spider-Man, and some of them switch sides at just the right moment, but the whole thing seems pretty well choreographed.
I really wish Sam Raimi and his dance partners had done at least one more encore. The new movies are exciting and imaginative, but they just don't connect with the comic books like the first three do.

I thought the casting of Thomas Haden Church as Sandman captured the look of the comics just about as close as they come. _________________ ...or not...
