Mary Ann (her real name) had a hard time of it. After being "let go" by Roddenberry she could only get a few roles. Once she was so broke, I started taking her to the Fox commissary for meals.

We're still good friends today.

I just realized why that is clearly the best picture of Grace Lee Whitney I have ever seen, bare none.

Reason number one is obvious. Here face and figure are perfectly displayed by the lighting, the pose, and even the background.

Reason number two didn't occur to me until just now. The photograph mercifully cuts off most of that horrible wig they made her wear. Without that hideous thing sitting up there marring her appearance, her true beauty shines through! Shocked

Anybody agree?

That picture was taken by my Godfather, Butch! We still have the negative!

Eadie, this picture was taken in 1966, when Butch was about 20 years old. Are you sure Butch was a professional photographer doing glamor shots in Hollywood at such a young age?

Perhaps he meant he had the negative in his extensive collection of memorabilia. Very Happy

I learned both still photography and cinematography from L. B. "Bill" Abbott, A. S. C. starting in 1964 when I was 15 1/2.

However the pose was suggested by Mary Ann (Grace Lee) and the lighting by Art Cruickshank .

I'll take Yeoman Colt, over the 'over-sexed' Yeoman Rand. I like her adherance to training. It (she) can be funny at times. I get no humor from Yeoman Rand.

I just wish Colt's hair was not so red. lol

"Why is the Enterprise like a roll of Charmin toiler paper?"

"Because they both fly around Uranus and whip out little Klingons."

Cool
