This would be the perfect day to watch Red Planet Mars! A key moment in the story occurs when Peter Graves' son thinks up the idea of sending the first five digits of Pi's infinite number (3.1415 . . . ) to the Martians to see if they provided the subsequent numbers to show they understood.
It's one of the movie's best concepts.
