The title shows a touch of modesty; what they've actually saved is Hitler's entire head . . . in a jar . . . and it's still alive . . . rolling its eyes, snarling at its enemies, and chuckling with sadistic glee when it witnesses a brutal murder.
A sight to behold, yes indeed. One has to admire actor Bill Freed's ability to actually overact while playing a head in jar. That can't be easy!
On a Caribbean island, a group of Nazis take orders from Hitler's disembodied head, which is plotting to conquer the world by using a nerve gas. They're also on the lookout for a new body for der F??hrer. Directed by David Bradley, and I'm sure his mother was very proud of him!
Treat yourself to this timeless classic on YouTube.

In addition to having a damned quirky story premise, this movie has an unusual history, as this IMDB trivia item describes.
________________________________
"They Saved Hitler's Brain", despite bearing a 1963 copyright, was released years later. The 1963 film The Madmen of Mandoras (1963) was combined with new footage of "CID" agents Vic and Toni shot for the film and released to television as "They Saved Hitler's Brain". The Vic and Toni footage was clearly shot years later; the hairstyles and fashions did not become popular until the late 1960s. _________________ ____________
