Bud, what do you think about having posts & pix about impressive sf sets from film & television?
Been re-watching some stuff recently & remain really taken with some of the fantastic sets created for a project.
Examples } The Martian Chronicles TV-miniseries Martian ruins & human colony sets.
Interiors for the Brave New World miniseries from 1980.
Interiors from the TV-Pilot Movie Plymouth.
Generally speaking most sf films & series are lauded for their stunning Visual FX such as model work,CGI,pyrotechnics,stop-motion.
And well they should be.
However, it sometimes seems that the astonishing set works constructed for these projects gets somewhat overshadowed by those other visuals I have listed here. |

Most of the set pics we have were, on the old board, placed within the threads devoted to each individual TV program or movie. _________________ Common Sense ISN'T Common |

I'm surprised you'd even ask! Look at posts like my detailed examination of the Morbius home in Forbidden Planet. Praising the fine work done by artists and technicians in connection with movie productions is a big part of what we do around here, sir.
In short, have at it, pal! _________________ ____________
