Yvonne Craig who famously played Batgirl on the third season of Batman [1966] passed away August 17, 2015 due to complications from breast cancer. Her obituary is here

When I first started work at 20th Century-Fox (NOT to be confused with today's 20th Century Fox) I lived for my first 8 1/2 months with Harlan Ellison. There I saw and eventually met with Vonnie almost every day.

She lived next door!
