Black Spot's premise is 'A police chief and an eccentric new prosecutor investigate a string of grisly crimes and eerie phenomena in an isolated town [called Villefranche] at the edge of a forest.'

The trailer you provided the link for to this wonderfully strange series is mesmerizing! I have no idea what the series is about, but obviously the trailer was designed tease my interest so I'd watch it.
