I watched all three seasons and it really started running out of gas towards the end. Too many episodes consisted of the townspeople just running around willy nilly worrying about who's side the other guy was on. Meh...

That's actually good news. It started out OK, but did deteriorate over the seasons. The final season began to remind me of a vintage Dr. Who-style storyline. They did sort of wrap things toward the end, though, doubtless anticipating cancellation.
