Butch, you're such a kidder! The site at this link (and four others I found) identifies that photo as the Meccano promotional robot at the 1965 Christmas Toy Fair, London.

The site included the picture of "your" robot and your alleged girlfriend, along with four other pictures, including his one.

I know.

I couldn't resist as the girl in the picture looks virtually identical to Barb, and her behavior is such that it's almost from a parallel universe.

But (as you know) I'm going through a personal trial and I needed a break.
