Hey, thank our wonderful Miss Eadie, who found out about the DVD. All I did was Google The Spirit (1987) DVD to find out who was selling it!

I DID order this off of Amazon and it's wonderful!
It maintains the tongue in cheek Eisner story telling and keeps the "feel" of the comic much better than the recent Frank Miller movie version.
Highly recommended for the true Spirit-o-phile! |

About a year ago there was a crackdown on all the sites that Bulldogtrekker and I used to get movies from to watch together. Some of the sites are still around, but they've got lots of viruses! 
I guess the days of bootleg downloads are over . . .
