Maybe instead of Tom Cruise, they'll get John Travolta for this encarnation. Why stop a trend?

I, for one, would love to see a decent adaptation of Jeff Wayne's WOW as a musical. It would be in the right time era at least. |

I love the concept album, for sure - I still have the vinyl version, with the artwork at a decent size! The CD version has four bonus remixes, I see... and the very idea of the Thunderchild always brings me out in goosebumps.
There is at least one theatrical version from 2013 available on disc, starring (in 3D holography) Liam Neeson, plus Marti Pellow, Ricky Wilson, Will Stapleton, Kerry Ellis, and Jason Donovan, conducted by Jeff Wayne himself, "alive from the O2" ... or if that isn't on sale for US-region dvd and blu-ray players, there is always YouTube. |
