Well, it's finally happened. The Parr family is back and ready to fight evil doers again!
The great thing about CGI sequels is that the cast can look exactly the same as they did in the original (or maybe just one year older), even when the sequel was made fourteen years after the original!
This is especially important when the original movie has kids in the cast, and the producers don't want the teen and pre-teen characters to be pushing thirty in the sequel!
And by gum, this is the Pixar sequel I've been waiting for since I was a handsome young man of just 55 and looked like this!

Ironically, this picture of me at 55 uses a bit of computer magic as well!
The picture was made back in 2004, the same year The Incredibles was released — which was three years before the first version of All Sci-Fi was born . . . and eight years before the first batch of All Sci-Fi T-shirts were created!
Therefore, the logo on my shirt is fake, something I added with Paint.net.
When it comes to computer artistry, just call me Mr. Incredible!
The Incredibles 2 premieres on June 15th, which now my favorite day of the year.

I saw it the other night.
It's good, very good, but not as good as the original.
I'll stay away from spoilers for now.
The movie starts immediately after the 1st one ends.
The story is a little contrived to move the franchise forward and I feel they are setting up for further sequels. Not a bad thing.
I love the "look" of the incredibles "world". If art direction is applicable in an animated movie, It's great here. Everything looks right.
There is 1 somewhat glaring continuity error I saw.
Overall I'd give it a good, solid 7-8 out of 10. |

I saw it with my daughter (All Sci-Fi member Ticket2theMoon) and my two grandchildren recently, and we loved it.
When I was a kid I used to pray each night for superpowers.
The futuristic designs are awesome, like the mag-lift train and the Hydroliner, which has Seaview-like windows below the water line at normal cruising speed, but they're lifted up above the water line when the hydrofoils are used!
Amazing!
"I'm Captain All Sci-Fi and I approve of this movie!"
