Sounds like something worth getting.
Mill Creek is a very odd company.
They made their "name" releasing those cheap mega pack DVD sets. 50 movies or 150 TV episodes in one set for cheap. And it's pretty much all public domain stuff.
But, in the Blu-ray world, they swung a deal with Sony to release a lot of old Columbia catalogue. They got their hands on some first class restorations and 4K transfers resulting in some gorgeous, premium BD releases of movies like LADY FROM SHANGHAI and THE WILD ONE. |

I do have a few of the Mill Creek compilations, such as the "Sci-Fi Fever" 20 film collection - 28 hours and 40 minutes on that one. Pretty good value, if I ever find the time to watch them all... |

I hate say it, but the content of this DVD set and the one shown above don't sound very tempting. Unlike sci-fi fans like Brent, I don't enjoy watching notoriously bad sci-fi movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space. So I think I'll pass on the bargain DVDs.
For me, watching bad movies is like going to a concert to hear an orchestra who plays everything off key and out of sync.

In retrospect, I almost wish I'd kept this gift from Tim Edwards, instead of "re-gifting" it to another member of All Sci-Fi several years ago!
Surely a few chilled beers and a rainy afternoon would have tempted me to sample the delights of the above collection! _________________ ____________

I myself am a sucker for bad Sci-Fi movies.
Robot Monster, The Astounding She Monster, Plan 9 from Outer Space...I find them amusingly enjoyable. _________________ "You look like a pooped out pinwheel."
