I created the instructions below for any members who might want to format YouTube videos they way I do on All Sci-Fi. Very Happy

If you want to try it, just copy the "framework" below to an MS Word document (or whatever you use), and then delete all the @ signs I had to put into it so that the codes which are not supposed to show would be visible to you.

After you remove the five @ signs from this framework, it will work perfectly when you use it. Save it (without the @ signs) and copy it to your posts each time you want to add a YouTube video the way I did with yours.

I like to center the title, and if you do that too, you'll have to adjust the length of the white line I placed in front of the title. The titles vary in length, so the line always needs adjusting. (The line in front of the thumbnail is just the right length already. Very Happy )

To get the image code from YouTube, just right click on the Youtube thumbnail and select "Copy Image Location", then paste it in where it says *IMAGE*.

This might sound hard, but with a little practice the whole thing takes about 60 seconds! Very Happy

Here's the "framework" you need to copy and save after removing the @ signs.

_________ [b@]*TITLE*[/b@]

__________

I also made a screen shot (at the bottom) which shows the framework before and after adding the three codes (URL, TITLE, and IMAGE) to it.

One last thing needs to be done before you post the finished product. When you copy the YouTube "Image Location" code, it will look like this.

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/bO0JPFu7-Qs/hqdefault.jpg?custom=true&w=336&h=188&stc=true&jpg444=true&jpgq=90&sp=68&sigh=7A0Vggz1FLVvEyzH1DQf5KQ9VkI

To make it work as an image on your post, you have to find ".jpg" (which is usually followed by a question mark) and then delete everything after that (including the question mark) for the code to work

After removing all that stuff, it ends up looking like this.

I always assume that Bud is smarter than me since he can do the YouTube thing and I always get it wrong.
