Unfortunately, the Power Ranger craze caught the toy industry completely by surprise, and quicker than you could say ""Bob's your uncle", the warehouses were suckin' air, and the kids of America were in danger of being bitterly disappointed by Santa Claus!

My own kids were 10 and 13 at that time, but they never showed a lick of interest in the show. However, five years earlier they were plum nuts about Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. And so was there father.

Five teens with attitude are inexplicably brought together by coincidence or destiny to become the newest generation in a line of warriors known as the Power Rangers.
