This is a simple kit, and was a quick build. I think I spent all of 4 hours on it.
It's great to see such an odd subject in styrene!
I love the Aurora style stand.
I preshaded a few panels and used sharpie and a mechanical pencil to highlight some panel lines. |

Very pretty! Well done!
New hyper designs appear similar to that. |

Thanks!
For it to work the engine would have to be very heavy or those tiny canards would need to generate a lot of lift.
But it sure looks cool! |

The main wings are probably swept more than the TV rendition, but still...
Perhaps a bit more like this for proper balance?

Moving the wings forward will help with the C/G, but it looks cooler the way it was drawn.
The other issue is the vertical stabilizer is WAY to big.
But for a 1964 cartoon it's really nicely done.
BTW why is there no Jonny Quest love in the TV section? |

Agreed on both counts. Dramatic impact trumps* reality here.

Look again, sir!
The Adventures of Jonny Quest (ABC 1964 - 1965)
That's the thread where I suggested a modificaction of the vertical stabilizer.

There's also the B-52 approach...
Yeah... It didn't do anything for the B-52's appearance either. _________________ ...or not...
