California is in bad shape. There are fires in the north and south, with more starting. People are losing their homes, loved ones and lives.

And it isn't going to get better after the fires are extinguished. If history repeats, with the loss of the trees and undergrowth, when the rains come there will be floods, possibly massive, mud slides and the hills will migrate down.

Unfortunately the fires will not be the end of the ordeal for these unfortunate people.

Please pray for the people of California.
