My fascination with the TV shows of my youth and all things connected with them continues unabated! This time last year, Gord Green, Bulldogtrekker, and I enjoyed four episodes of Space Patrol from the 11 which are available on Youtube.

Fun stuff, boys and girls!

The next day I went to the store for groceries and bought a few boxes of delicious, nutritious Ralston Corn Chex and Rice Chex, the official sponsor of Space Patrol!

Except that the company is now called General Mills. Thank goodness that wasn’t the case in 1955, otherwise little Rick Walker would have won the General Mills Rocket, and that just doesn't have the same pizazz as the Ralston Rocket!

I’m sure Cadet Ricky would agree. But he’d still be a lucky kid for having this in his front driveway.
