About Today's Featured Threads

It should come as no surprise that loosing things in the vastness of space is extremely easy!

Today we have four threads about Star Trek episodes in which the crew of the Enterprise loose things very important to them.

In The Lights of Zetar, Scotty has found love, but he’s afraid he’ll loose the lassie (or she’ll loose her mind) when the ship is attacked by a swarm of sentient Disco lights who lost their planet and want to find a new home.

In Dagger of the Mind, Kirk looses his mind briefly when a mad scientists convinces him he’s in love with Marianna Hill. I don’t blame him, though. Miss Hill plays Helen Noel, “the face that launched a thousand starships” —



— and her uniform holds the record for the shortest hemline!



In Turnabout Intruder, Kirk doesn’t just loose his MIND, he looses his whole BODY to a crazy woman who wants to "wear the pants in the family". (The ultimate identity theft. )

And in The Tholian Web the Enterprise looses their captain when he slips into another dimension!
