About Today's Featured Threads
Here’s a quick lesson in how first impressions can be very misleading.
For example, Terror Beneath the Sea sounds like a movie about a sea monster that attacks ships. Actually it’s about an undersea laboratory where a mad scientist turns people in merfolk who can survive underwater.
__
The Human Duplicators sounds like an invasion movie with beings from the planet Xerox making copies of human beings. Actually it IS . . . but the planet isn’t called Xerox, because of copyright reasons . . . ironically enough.
__
The title for One Million Years B.C. gives the distinct impression it’s an American movie staring Raquel Welch, with Harryhausen stop motion. But actually it isn’t — it’s a British movie staring Raquel Welch, with Harryhausen stop motion.
__
Just goes to show how wrong we can be sometimes, eh?
