An Altair IV Thanksgiving Fable

Come with me as we leave Terra (Sol III “Earth” & moon Sol IIIa)

And orient our ship toward Altair:

We will use the “time sling effect” to go toward to Altair IV (it's in the direction of the galactic center):

We approach Altair IV from the night side:

And swing around the planet to our landing site:

Where we are Greeted by Robby:

Our tour guide informs us that it is just another day on Altair IV:

Some basic facts about the turkey:

Dr. Morbius has learned that the “turkey” used in ancient traditional Krell Harvest feast was called a ”chukaar” (chsu – KAY-arrr) and was quite large:

It doesn’t matter what you like:

Robby makes and serves anything:

(sorry, this isthe best I could make.)

There are enough place mats:

For all of the visitors and Krellings:

With a ”chukaar” there is always plenty of food:

After the feast, everyone can rush to the view plate:

To watch the annual big game against the IDs

Then you can sleep. Pleasant Dreams!

Miss Eadie, this is a wonderful message to All Sci-Fi's members, and I know they loved it as much as I did!

Concerning the FP lunch scene you were not satisfied with, you could (if you wanted to) use this wonderful picture from your An Addendum to Thanksgiving post — which I moved here to Contact All Sci-Fi because it was really sad about not being with the rest of these wonderful Thanksgiving messages! Laughing

By the way, did YOU make that amazing picture? If so, I can't quite figure out how you did it. The table settings are NOT the same colors as the actual photograph! And yet, everything else is in black & white! Shocked
