TODAY’S TOPIC: Science fiction tends to deal with serious subjects in a very somber manner. It just doesn’t lend itself well to effective comedy.
However, there have been some notable exceptions.
The descriptions below pertain to the specialized sub-genre of science fiction we might call comedy sci-fi. It’s principal purpose is to make the audience giggle — not to make the audience ponder lofty concepts or face disturbing ideas.
And yet, the movies on today’s list of Feature Threads include plots about space travel, alien invasions, time travel, and technology that changes the world — even though they present these concepts in a comic manner!
So, take a shot at figuring out which sci-fi movies I’ve described below. And when you think you’ve cracked the codes, click on the links and congratulate yourselves when you get them right!
All I ask in return is a quick reply to each thread which will keep the discussions on All Sci-Fi alive and well.
