If Wednesday was a girl, she’d be one of those blind dates you had in high school when your friends told you she was nice and had a good personality.
If Wednesday was car, it would be solid and reliable and get good gas mileage, but nobody would call it a “sweet ride”.
If Wednesday was a movie, it would be one of those films you keep meaning to watch (but never do).
Well, guys, Wednesday is here — and we’ve got to be polite to the blind date, make sure the boring car gets routine maintenance, and sit through a dull movie because our friends picked it for the weekly movie on cook-out night at Charlie’s house.
In short . . . we just have to make the best of it. It will be dull, but not dangerous. After all, what could possibly go wrong on a blind date with a girl named Wednesday?
Ummm . . . then again, I could be wrong.
