So, they convinced Kathy's poor teacher that her Mother and Father are loons? Kathy must have had an interesting day at school after that meeting. Laughing

But it does sound like a great episode.

Today I discovered that just one year after Robert Young and Jane Wyatt decided to retire, causing the cancellation of Father Knows Best, Robert Young changed his mind and starred in a new semi-serious sitcom called Window on Main Street, which had the same producer (Eugene Rodney), principal scriptwriter (Roswell Rogers), and musical supervisor (Irving Friedman).

Young plays a widowed author who's writing a book about the small town in which he lives. The series only ran one season with 34 episodes

The episode I watched today (a special feature on my Father Knows Best DVDs) was likable enough . . . but pretty slow.

YouTube has many of the episodes, uploaded by various members. Here's episode 1.
