I discovered more “short-lived science fiction series that should have succeeded” than I expected!

The list below includes one that managed to get through one season, and two others that were cut before they even got that far!

Perhaps the recent trend toward streaming services like Netflix and CBS All Access will provide greater opportunities for series like these. The success of Star Trek: Discover would seem to support that idea.
