__________

I vaguely remember this TV movie, and it was fairly enjoyable. Very Happy

Jay Underwood later distinguished himself in Star Command, the spectacular unsold pilot in which he played a cadet who was compelled to assume the role of captain aboard a training mission on a starship and lead his fellow cadets against a group of enemy ships which were threatening to wipe out the colonist on a newly discovered planet!

You had a great video of it, but now it's gone. Sad

I was delighted to discover that YouTube has the full movie of Not Quite Human — as well as the sequel, which I don't remember seeing.

Jay also played Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch in the Roger Corman produced but unreleased film "The Fantastic Four."

I'm a big fan of "Star Command" and was disappointed that the sci~fi TV movie-pilot was never picked up as a weekly series.

Had a lot of potential, not to mention the gorgeous Kelly Hu!

Not Quite Human 1 and 2 would make a great double feature for a synchro-cinema in All Sci-Fi's Chatzy room!

A few members besides me and Gord Green have expressed an interest in doing this. I know Gord and I would love to share a few movies with other members of All Sci-Fi.

Come on, guys! Lets defy this "social distancing" thing and start having movie nights together! Just tell us what days and what times are convenient for you, and we'll make it happen. Very Happy

I just discovered the a second sequel was made in 1992 called Still Not Quite Human. IMDB describes it this way.

YouTube has the full movie with good picture. And here's the link to thread I just started for Still Not Quite Human (1992)
