I confess. I'm no Keanu Reeves fan.

After a valiant attempt to sink Bram Stoker's Dracula, he was inexplicably cast in Much Ado About Nothing, eventually to find his niche as an action hero in Speed, which required zero depth.

Maybe he's gotten better over the years. I haven't been checking.

So, why has he had a successful and long running career?

In an industry in which Bob Denver can become a star, anything can happen.
