Great sci-fi series have come along in every decade. Here’s three which aired during the last forty years!
UFO is a bit dated now, and even though the slam-bang opening credits are terrific, the jazzy 1970s British music sort of sets my teeth on edge. But I admire many elements of the series.
Sanctuary is barely ten years old, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the episodes I’ve seen so far. It’s ambitious and imaginative, with state-of-the-art FX.
But the cream of the crop is Firefly, a series we all wished had last for five or more years.
