Sidney Noel Rideau, better known in New Orleans as Sid Noel who's alter ego Momus Alexander Morgus, aka Morgus the Magnificent has died at the age of 90.

In the 50s and 60s Dr. Morgus was very popular in southern Louisiana starting with his show, "The House Of Shock". In 1962 he did a movie, "The Wacky World of Dr. Morgus", then a new TV series "Morgus Presents". He also did the local weather.

He did all his experimets from his laboratory in the attic of the old city ice house with his faithful assistant Chopsley.
