[Krel]

Roger Cobb (William Katt) is a best selling horror novelist who's life is falling apart. His son disappears at his Aunt's house, and his marriage is falling apart because of it, despite his wife's efforts. His Aunt is found dead in her house from hanging herself. He is suffering from writer's block, and he is having nightmares about his experiences as a soldier in Vietnam. He decides, over the protests of his publisher, to make his next book about those experiences. He decides to move into his Aunt's house to write the novel, unaware that there are things waiting there for him.

This is as far as I am going to go, as I don't want to spoil the movie. This means that I can't quote my favorite line from the film.

"House", is a clever, funny horror comedy with a difference. Most horror movies figure, that as a horror movie, hey don't need any rules. "House" establishes a set of rules and it makes for a different horror film.

The trailer alone scared the English pea out of me, but the YouTube video has a great picture, and your recommendation is very convincing. So . . . I'll download the video and watch it — possibly in All Sci-Fi's Chatzy Room (<— link) with Phantom, Gord Green, Trekriffic — and maybe a view other members who'd like to join us!
