Just thought I'd share this New York Times piece on Chicago's continuing battle with water.

I knew the city had ongoing problems with drainage and flooding (aggravated in recent years by climate change) but, as a technical geek, I found the historic and engineering details fascinating.

For anyone who lives in the Windy City or the Great Lakes region -- what are your thoughts?
