Opening Statement: More Trivia } The original title for this episode was "The Gamesters Of Pentathion." Sounds like the writer was going for a variation of pentathlon.

Kirk, Uhura & Sulu were to have been traveling by shuttlecraft in the opening of the episode and then captured.

TOS episode #38 - The Apple

Opening Statement: This episode really established the "red shirt curse" for ST:TOS. Four red-shirted crew members perish from Vaal's attacks.

TOS episode #48 - The Immunity Syndrome

Opening Statement: The name of the Vulcan Captain of the all-Vulcan Federation Star Ship Intrepid is Satak, even though it is not mentioned in the episode.
