Two movies I can't recommend because they aren't very good, and one I'm not familiar with (the third one).
I hope some of All Sci-Fi's members will offer interesting comments to the threads. I recently renewed the annual rent on the server that hosts the board, and frankly folks, and it ain't cheap when you go for the "dedicated server".
That means All Sci-Fi is the only website on it, which is why our board runs so fast and never goes down anymore.
Please help me keep the site interesting and active, guys!
_______Without Warning (1980) - Official Trailer

Without Warning (1980)
Opening Statement: IMDB has several interesting trivia items for this production.
~ The plot for the Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi/action film Predator (1987) also features the same idea of an alien from outer space that hunts humans. The same actor who plays the alien in "Without Warning", Kevin Peter Hall, also plays the Predator.
Note from me: Ain't it amazin' how talented people can take a good concept and turn it into classic. . . while dimwits with cameras end up making a glorified home movie?
1984 (1984)
Opening Statement: IMDB has several interesting trivia items for this production.
~ In poor health during most of the filming, Richard Burton had great difficulty remembering his lines and sometimes had to film a scene dozens of times before he could get it right. The scene in O'Brien's apartment where O'Brien is talking to Winston about Goldstein's book took a record of forty-one takes for Burton to say his speech without fumbling his lines.
The Philadelphia Experiment (1984)
Opening Statement: IMDB has several interesting trivia items for this production.
~ This film is widely believed to be based on a real-life and ill-fated experiment with invisibility and force fields in the 1940s. However, to the best of any factual knowledge, no such experiment ever occurred, and the story was the work of an eccentric loner, Carl Allen, who sent notes on the "experiment" to the government in the 1950s, and whose story was later leaked.
Despite the lack of any factual evidence, the story has become an urban legend, and favorite of conspiracy theorists, who point to the lack of evidence as proof that it's being covered up.
Note from me: I don't know if this movie would have been better if the premise had been handled better, to me it was as dull as Navy training film about personal hygiene. _________________ ____________
