Actor James Olson 1930-2022) has passed away. Olson was a Chicago theater actor who also studied under Lee Strasberg in N.Y.C.

His SF genre credits include: The classic movie The Andromeda Strain from 1971 where he played Dr. Mark Hall, one of the leads.

The Groundstar Conspiracy (1972), Strange New World (1975), two episodes of The Bionic Woman, The two-part episode of Battlestar Galactica "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero,"(1978), Project UFO episode "Sighting 4020: The Island Incident (1978)

Jim was always a fine actor in anything I saw him in.

He was also in the Hammer sci-fi film MOON ZERO TWO.
