Wow, it has been many years since I visited All Sci-fi, and I was very happy to see it is still here and getting some traffic.

It seems Facebook/Social Media has been a death-blow to many forums, either rendering them obsolete or a mere shell of what they once were.

I myself used to run a very large forum (nothing sci-fi or horror related), and Facebook pretty much killed the forums over time.

So to say I was delighted to see All Sci-fi up and running was a thrill, and I look forward to catching up with some old members who may remember me, and paying tribute to those who have sadly passed away since my last visit here.

Way back in the early days, I have fond memories of Bud and I watching movies together, and critiquing them (or making fun of them as some were real stinkers.)

I have an infinity for super cheesey flicks like Robot Monster, as well as the standby classics.

Glad to meet many of you, and a huge hello to old friends.

Good Lord, Wade! Our reaction to your triumphant return is like what happens when a group of shipwrecked survivors in a lifeboat see a rescue ship approaching!

Not only are we glad to see you, we're overjoyed by the return of a member who can write so beautifully! We're tempted to have your message put in a frame so we can mount it on our walls!

Sir, I suspect you are what's known as "scary smart"! No new member has ever figured out that anybody can click on the link to the chat room and send me a message!

I assume you've already seen the schedule for this weekend's ASF’s Friday & Saturday Night Chats, so we sincerely hope you'll be able to join us for a rousing swashbuckler and a classic 50's classic sci-fi!
