Here's an interesting video with more info about Mars than a normal brain can hold. Watch it and find out if your brain is normal.
By the way, the thumbnail below is kind of a "cheat". NASA did not find spider legs sticking out of the ground.

Mars, Arrakis, Desert planet.
It seems that Frank Herbert was not a science fiction writer after all.
Around 1.5 million years ago the Fremen succeeded in freeing the water on Mars (after defeating the Emperor Shadam "Ming" Corrino). There followed a period of prosperity for the planet until the sandworms mutated to allow them to temporarily tolerate small amounts of water.
The sandworms came forth and devoured all other living things on the planet, resulting in a massive over breeding of the worms. All the sand trout that were produced quickly tied up all the water in the atmosphere and on the planet.
This rapid dehydration of Mars caused the thin atmosphere to allow a rapid, severe cooling to present day temperatures.
All the sandworms died off, but the sand trout went dormant while still trapping all of Mars' water.
If Humans ever colonize Mars and attempt to terraform it, the sand trout will come out of there dormancy and transform into sandworms again. Starting the whole cycle again.
Mmmmm, Spice, It's what could be for dinner if we colonize Mars.
The Spice must flow . . . again. |

It all went well until the Bene Gesserit showed up!
Where is the Kwisatz Haderach when you need him??
(By the way, just as an interesting note, Science fiction novelist Frank Herbert's concept for a messiah, the Kwisatz Haderach, resembles and is strongly associated with Kefitzat Haderech, the term referring to a "leap forward" in Hebrew.
Kefitzat Haderech also means "contraction of the road". It is a Hebrew term, used in Jewish sources, referring to miraculous travel between two distant places in a brief time.) _________________ There comes a time, thief, when gold loses its lustre, and the gems cease to sparkle, and the throne room becomes a prison; and all that is left is a father's love for his child. |

So the Jewish faith is based on what was left from the downfall of Mars?
Maybe Guild Navigators folded space to transport the last of the Martian refugees to earth to start our current history.
Did the last remnants of the Landsraad settle in Egypt while the remnants of the Freman became the Israelites? They all had spice withdrawal upon arriving on earth.
Was Mana really just the last of the spice deposited around from a faulty space fold during the Jewish exodus from Mars?
Could a copy of The Orange Catholic bible be the beginning of all modern religions?
I kind of wish I remembered more of the old testament from Sunday school. |

Mark, those are some terrific concepts you described. Bravo!
In my humble opinion, the Bible is not a very entertaining book. It tends to ramble, story wise. But what can we expect from a book written for God by "ghost writers" . . . in this case, Holy Ghost writers! _________________ ____________

Thanks!
I never thought of it that way, but the Bible is the ultimate ghost written book!
Well done! I'm still laughing! |
